Synopsis
Based on Molière's five-act 1665 comedy, the aristocrat Don Juan seduces, marries, and abandons Elvira. She's discarded as just another romantic conquest. Now it is adapted as a play in Sefanja R. Galon's Sin Cycle Series by setting these characters in a Caribbean cultural context where age-old tropes can find new life in our modern era.
This iteration of Don Juan is a Jamaican Playboy Billionaire who is supposed to close a real estate deal at Atchana's in Miami with his best friend Sergio — but little does he know that his wife, the Cuban Cigar Heiress Donna Elvira, is hot on his tail. Follow the story of love, lust and pride with Maroon Isle Productions.
Music
Don Juan features original music from the Maroon Isle Band and combines the cultural music of the Caribbean with inspirations drawn from Suriname, Jamaica, Cuba and Haiti to create a musical landscape like no other.
